专利说明:
[0001] Ice crampon with advanced longitudinal adjustment. TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to an ice crampon comprising a metal body composed of an anterior part or head, and a posterior part or heel joined to said head by flexible connecting means cooperating with a system. adjusting the length of the crampon. State of the Art French Patent No. 2,575,659 discloses an ice crampon having a head and a heel interconnected by flexible cables cooperating with a retaining loop clamping device. The two cables pass in links of a pair of chains integral with the heel. Each chain has a pin allowing a selection of the number of links for the longitudinal adjustment. Closing the loop acts on the length of the cables for energizing the head and heel. According to French Pat. Nos. 2,509,968 and 2,457,654, the mechanical connection between the head and the heel comprises a rigid metal bar, the length of which is adjustable thanks to successive holes or notches distributed along the bar. The longitudinal adjustment is effected by selecting a predetermined hole or notch according to the desired size. Such a head, barrette and heel assembly is generally made of steel, resulting in a certain weight. The presence of a rigid bar also increases clutter when storing the crampon in the bag of the mountaineer or hiker. [0002] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is to provide an ice crampon having a moderate weight, easy to adjust according to the size of the shoe, and having a compact footprint during storage. The ice crampon according to the invention is characterized in that the flexible connection means are formed by at least one flexible cord connected between the head and the heel after passing through adjusting slots of the adjustment system, said notches being part of a notch integral with the body of the crampon. According to a preferred embodiment, the cord is configured according to two elementary strands laterally spaced from each other with respect to the longitudinal median axis of the crampon body. The length of the two strands of the cord is adjusted by means of two series of notches arranged along the opposite inner edges of the heel or the head. The presence of both strands provides good stability between the head and the heel. According to a feature of the invention, each series of successive notches forms a rectilinear notch on either side of the median longitudinal axis. The two strands may be from a single cord forming a ring after passing through the notches. [0003] The two strands may also be independent of each other, each strand being individually fixed to first attachment points of the heel and second attachment points of the head after passing through the adjustment notches. [0004] The notches can be either integrated in the heel or the head of the crampon, or arranged on a piece attached to the heel or the head. The heel or the head of the crampon advantageously comprises at least one crescent-shaped light, having two adjacent notches for the choice of passage of the strands of the cord, to adjust adjusting half-notches. According to another characteristic, the cord comprises a single strand and a single series of notches, extending along the longitudinal central axis. Preferably, the flexible cord is made of a textile material based on polyethylene fibers having a high tensile strength. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Other advantages and features will become more clearly apparent from the following description of an embodiment of the invention given by way of nonlimiting example and represented in the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a crampon equipped with an adjustable flexible connection according to the invention; Figure 2 is a bottom view of Figure 1, the fixing brackets and the heel is not shown; Figures 3 to 5 show variants of Figure 2; Figure 6 shows another variation of Figure 2 with a single center strand cord; Figure 7 illustrates another variant of Figure 4; both Figs. 7A and 7B show the bead apertures for the adjustment half-screens; Figure 8 is a top view of the heel illustrating the two series of notches and the two openings for the half-notches adjustment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, an ice crampon 10 is composed of an anterior part or head 11, and a posterior part or heel 12, the two parts being able to adapt to a sole of a mountaineer's shoe. The head 11 and the heel 12 are formed by independent parts, each being pierced in its central part, and made of a metallic material, in particular aluminum or steel. At the periphery of the head 11 and the heel 12, extend a plurality of sharp teeth 13 for penetrating the slope of ice or hard snow. All the teeth 13 are oriented downwards, except for the two horizontal points at the front of the head 11. A first hoop-shaped fixing yoke 14 is hinged transversely to the front of the head 11 to come into contact. engagement with the rim before the sole of the shoe. At the heel 12 is articulated a second U-shaped stirrup 15 on which is mounted a heel 16 for locking the rear flange of the sole. The second stirrup 15 U is larger than the first stirrup 14, and its two ends are housed on either side of the heel in one of the holes 17 provided in the two anterior teeth of the heel 12. The ends of the first stirrup 14 can also be inserted into one of the spaced holes 18 formed in the lateral teeth 13 of the head 11. The head 11 and the heel 12 of the crampon 10 are interconnected by flexible connecting means co-operating with a system of FIG. adjustment 19 in length to adapt the crampon 10 to the size of the shoe. The flexible connection means are formed by a cord 20 configured according to two strands 20a, 20b elementary spaced laterally from each other. The adjustment system 19 comprises two series of notches 21 formed along the opposite inner edges of the perforated portion of the heel 12, each series constituting a rectilinear notch on either side of the longitudinal median axis of the crampon 10. The cord The flexible fabric is preferably made of a textile material having a high tensile strength and a low elongation, for example based on high tenacity polyethylene fibers of the Dyneema type (trademark registered by DSM). It is clear that other materials can be used, having dimensional stability to moisture, and resistance to abrasion and cutting. [0005] The two strands 20a, 20b of Figures 1 and 2 are derived from a single cord 20 forming a ring after mounting between the head 11 and the heel 12. At the front, the two strands 20a, 20b through two orifices 22, 23 of the head 11, and are connected transversely to each other by a connecting strand 24 below. At the rear, each strand 20a, 20b passes through a hole 25, 26 of the heel 12 downwards, then is engaged in a predetermined recess between two notches 21 of the corresponding series, to return from above by being fixed by its end. at a point of attachment 27, 28 of the heel 12. [0006] The longitudinal adjustment of the cord 20 is thus integrated into the metal body of the heel 12. Just relax the two strands 20a, 20b, and position the cord in the notches 21 desired depending on the size of the shoe. The final attachment of the crampon 10 to the sole of the boot is then effected by tilting of the heel piece 16. FIG. 3 shows an alternative embodiment of FIG. 2, after inversion of the attachment points 27a, 28a under the head 11 and the lower connecting strand 24a under the heel 12. The rest is similar, in particular the two series of notches 21 of the adjustment system. In the variant of FIG. 4, the two ends of the cord 20, instead of being individually fastened to separate attachment points, are of the head 11 as in FIG. 3, are connected directly to each other at a point 15 29. The rest is identical to FIG. 3. The variant of FIG. 5 represents two strands of cord 20a, 20b that are independent of each other, instead of a single ring cord as in FIGS. 4. Each strand 20a, 20b is attached directly at the front to two attachment points 27a, 28a of the head 11, and to the other two attachment points 27, 28 of the heel after passing through the notches 21 of the system 19. Figure 6 shows another variant with a single strand of cord 20 between the head 11 and the heel 12, instead of the two 20a, 20b as in Figure 5. The single cord 20 extends along of the longitudinal median axis, and can be adjusted in length with a single series of notches 21 located in the central portion of the heel 12. The ends of the cord 20 are attached to attachment points 28, 28a respectively of the heel 12 and the head 11. [0007] Figures 7, 7A, 7B and 7C illustrate the possibility of obtaining a fine adjustment of the length of the strands of the cord 20a, 20b. The body of the heel 12 has for this purpose two slots 30, 31 in the form of croissants, each having two adjacent notches for the passage of the ends of the strands 20a, 20b. We can thus adjust half sizes.
